Albion have begun the rebuild of their WSL squad.
They have agreed a deal with versatile defender Marisa Olislagers, 23, upon expiry of her contract with FC Twente.
In four years with Twente, the Holland international won three Eredivisie titles, three Eredivisie Cups, two Super Cup Women trophies and the Dutch Women’s Cup.
Albion managing director Zoe Johnson said: “She’s a versatile defender who will complement our squad well, she already possesses the experience of winning trophies at a young age and we’re eager to see what she can add to the team in the forthcoming season.”
A busy summer will see Albion name their new head coach while several signings are also expected now contracts elsewhere have expired.
Top scorer Elisabeth Terland is widely expected to join Manchester United, having been offered a new deal by the Seagulls.
