Albion tonight looked set to bring in Newcastle winger Yankuba Minteh.
Multiple sources in the North East have confirmed to The Argus they expect the Seagulls to complete a move for the 19-year-old Gambia international.
Minteh is a lightning fast left-footed right winger who shone on loan at Feyenoord last term, scoring ten Eredivisie goals.
Newcastle are looking to sell ahead of the June 30 cut-off to meet profit and sustainability targets.
The Argus understands the fee will be £30 million.
