Jakub Moder could be on his way out of Albion ahead of the new season.
The Poland midfielder was reported in his home country to be on the way to promoted Leicester City.
Meczyki.pl understand Moder will head to the newly-promoted Foxes, potentially in a flurry of activity which would also involve Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall joining the Seagulls.
The current Leicester midfielder has been a target for Albion for some time and such a move would make sense.
But it was believed there was no deal done for him as of Thursday night with Chelsea also showing an interest.
Moder has returned from a serious knee injury to play in the Premier League and at Euro 2024.
His long-awaited return to action came against Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest, when he helped ten-man Albion hold on for a 3-2 win at the City Ground.
But he had a limited role with the Seagulls last season.
