Two days before the start of the Copa America and a week before their debut, Albion forward Julio Enciso travelled with the Paraguay squad to Houston, writes Ben Reynolds.
On Monday night, the team arrived in Houston, the venue for their first match in the Copa America.
Enciso was pictured looking cheerful on the flight to Texas.
He aims to be a key player for his country in the coming weeks.
Paraguay will face Colombia in their opening match in Group D, following a 1-0 victory against Panama in their last friendly under coach Daniel Garnero.
Before leaving for the US, the team trained at the Rommel Fernández stadium, with players doing reaction and acceleration drills and playing a small-sided match.
Enciso will also be looking to impress his club boss Fabian Huerzeler.
He played his first full 90 minutes in over a year in a friendly against Chile, where his eagerness to make up for lost time was evident.
