Worthing have secured Danny Cashman on a new deal.
And new boss Chris Agutter believes he can improve on an impressive first season at the club.
The former Albion youngster scored 15 goals in 39 games last term after joining from Coventry City.
He is ambitious to play at a higher level and there were concerns among fans he might move on after Worthing missed out on promotion in the Vanarama National League south play-off final.
But the club have confirmed he is on board for next term.
The news will delight supporters who have seen star duo Ollie Pearce and Joe Felix move to York City.
Agutter said: “Danny is an exceptionally talented footballer who brings so much quality to the team.
“He’s a match-winner who consistently rises to the occasion and he will be absolutely integral to us moving forward.
“We also believe there is a lot more to come from Danny, which can only be a positive for us as a team as we look ahead to the challenge in front of us.”
