Roberto De Zerbi continues to search for a new job after leaving Albion as the number of potential landing spots continues to fall.
De Zerbi had been linked to Chelsea and Manchester United following his departure – but the South London side have now announced Enzo Maresca on a five-year deal and Erik Ten Hag’s rumoured departure is yet to come to fruition.
Now, the Italian may face an extended wait on the touchline as he plots a course to his next managerial role.
De Zerbi had previously been linked with the Chelsea role alongside Maresca and Kieran McKenna but quickly fell out of the running as talks with the former Leicester boss progressed.
He also continues to be linked with Manchester United should Sir Jim Ratcliffe decide to part ways with Ten Hag, but he so far remains in his post despite rumours swirling before United’s FA Cup win.
De Zerbi has also been tipped to take over from Pep Guardiola should be decide to leave Manchester City but so far he has remained tight-lipped about his future.
Albion continue to look for their own manager after parting ways with De Zerbi, with former boss Graham Potter, Steve Cooper and Henrik Rydstrom touted as potential replacements.
