Two Albion youngsters might have played their last games on loan this season.
Andrew Moran and Yasin Ayari both missed Blackburn’s 1-0 win at Leeds on Saturday through injury.
Moran picked a thigh problem in last week’s defeat by Bristol City and has been set a target date to return as the last game of the season, at Leicester on May 4.
But there is no guarantee he will make that.
Rovers boss John Eustace said: "He got injured as soon as he came in on Wednesday after only five minutes.
"We had used all of our substitutes up so we couldn't bring him off.
“That was another issue we had on Wednesday but we got on with it and we moved on.”
Ayari is touch and go to be back before the season ends after picking up a hamstring injury in training.
Moran has two goals and six assists in the Championship this term, having featured in 33 matches.
Ayari has one goal and one assist but has not played since April 1.
