Sussex are hoping to get one more day of pre-season action under their belts before the serious business starts.
Day one of their two-day friendly at home to Hampshire, due to take place on Friday, has been cancelled due to a wet outfield.
The counties hope to play some cricket at the 1st Central County Ground on Saturday, from 10.30am.
Ollie Robinson is expected to play some part for the hosts if the green light for action is given.
Sussex are hopeful he will also be available next Friday, when they open their Vitality County Championship division two campaign with a home date with Northants.
The 13-man squad listed for the Hampshire game is skippered by John Simpson.
Entry to both the pre-season fixture and the opening day against Northants are free of charge although tickets for the latter must be secured in advance.
Squad v Hampshire: Alsop, Carson, Carter, Clark, Coles, Crocombe, Haines, Hudson-Prentice, Hunt, Ibrahim, Karvelas, Robinson, Simpson.
