Roberto De Zerbi will challenge his Albion players to get straight back into Europe after their exit to Roma.
The Seagulls go into a 17-day break between games in the race to reach the Europa or Conference League next term.
They saw their maiden Euro run ended 4-1 on aggregate after beating the Serie A side by a Danny Welbeck goal in the second leg.
The Premier League is likely to have five teams in the Champions League next term to potentially open another European door.
Albion are eighth, which would be the second best finishing position in their history.
But teams are packed tightly together in that area of the table with five currently separated by four points with ten rounds of fixtures to go.
De Zerbi believes his club have learnt lessons to help them should they qualify again.
The Albion head coach said: “I believe in my players and I know we can fight to reach another historical target.
“We are going to play ten games. Maybe only in two weeks we will play three games.
“We will play one game per week, we can prepare our best every game.
“I hope we can play with Joao Pedro and James Milner because (Solly) March, Jack Hinshelwood and (Kaoru) Mitoma can’t play until the end of the season.
“I will try to reach another season in a row the European competition.”
Joao Pedro will miss Brazil’s friendlies in the forthcoming international window and is not expected to be available for the first league game after that, when Albion visit Liverpool.
But it appears he will play a significant part in the run-in.
Albion are without a game this weekend and several of their players are heading off on international duty.
They include Jakub Moder, who will join up with the Poland squad for the first time in two years after proving his fitness following a serious knee injury.
