Mauricio Pochettino has explained why he was at the Amex to watch Albion play Roma.
The Chelsea boss sat alongside sporting director Paul Winstanley for the Europa League last-16 second leg.
Chelsea visit the Amex in April – unless they are otherwise engaged in the FA Cup semi-finals.
We will know about that after they have played Leicester in the quarter-finals on Sunday.
Pochettino said: “We wanted to go because I think in three weeks, I hope not, we play Brighton at Brighton.
“Of course it was a good opportunity to watch live football because we don’t have time.
“We love to watch football live.
“It was a great opportunity because it is only 45 minutes from here (the Chelsea training ground), from Cobham, and we decided to go at the last moment.
“I think it was good to watch a game where you are only a spectator and you enjoy the game rather suffering when you’re on the touchline.
"But it was good to watch Roma – Brighton also."
