Danny Welbeck says Albion’s huge Europa League mission against Roma is one to look forward to.
The experienced former England striker is likely to lead the attack at the Amex as his side look to out an early dent in the 4-0 deficit from the first leg.
Welbeck had three good scoring chances at the Stadio Olimpico and that is being seen as reason for encouragement in the Albion camp.
Whatever happens, the two-leg tie against the Serie A giants is all valuable experience for younger members of the squad.
Welbeck said: “You have to be in those situations first and foremost to experience them.
“To play in these games, it’s a massive learning curve.
“You are always learning. When you have the experience of playing in these games, you kind of get a feeling for it and it becomes very much normal, pretty much like any other game.
“It is important to play the game and not the occasion.
“It’s easy to for me to say what to do but, when you are on the pitch, it is more difficult.
“I just want to get out there. It is something to look forward to.
“It is a difficult task ahead but it is one we are really looking forward to.”
