Mikey Harris says Albion must stick to their beliefs after a tough FA Cup exit.
The Seagulls went down 4-0 at home to Manchester United in the quarter-finals.
They were 3-0 down at the break before a big crowd at Crawley.
The target will now be climb the WSL table after the recent big win at Bristol City.
Interim Albion boss Harris said: “We will stick to our processes.
“It’s a really, really tough night. Let’s not beat about the bush.
“We were below the levels we have set in the last few weeks and I thought Man United were really good.”
“We knew I was going to be a tough game but we were very confident.
“As soon as they get themselves in front we can see a shift in their confidence and they were formidable opponents tonight.
Millie Turner gave the Red Devils an early lead with a header in the eighth minute after Albion had failed to clear a corner.
Nikita Parris soon added a second in the 17th minute after being picked out by Melvine Malard.
Any hopes of a comeback were all but ended just before half-time when Lucia Garcia made it 3-0 with a tap-in after Malard’s shot rebounded off the post.
Lisa Naalsund fired in United’s fourth on the hour, with Malard again involved in the build-up.
