Roberto De Zerbi cannot wait to see Albion return to action after a tough week.
The head coach says confidence has not been hit by emphatic defeats at Fulham and AS Roma.
They take on Nottingham Forest today looking to revitalise their push for another European qualification.
Asked whether confidence had been hit, De Zerbi said: “No, I think we are suffering in humour, in enthusiasm but not in confidence.
“We have shown a lot of times our qualities – our human qualities, our football qualities.
“We are suffering, yes. It’s a tough period, yes.
“But we knew before the season started it could be a very tough season.
“We knew we played every three days and we knew we could spend a tough moment during the season.
“It is not a new thing.
“I think we can’t lose confidence in ourselves.
“We have shown a lot of times our potential, our quality, our character, our attitude.
“I am looking forward to playing. I can’t wait to play.
“I spoke with a lot of players and they are like me.”
