Roberto De Zerbi has shrugged off speculation about his future – as he aims for an “incredible” end to the season with Albion.

The head coach believes this term’s efforts surpass those of last year given their injuries and European commitments.

Speaking ahead of the game at Fulham, he was asked about ongoing suggestions of interest in his services from clubs including Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United.

De Zerbi said: “I have only Brighton in my head.

“I would like to finish this season in the best way, playing with not all players because March and Mitoma’s season are finished, but I would like to play with Julio Enciso, Joao Pedro, to try and win as many games as possible.

“I have a contract and until now I haven’t decided anything. My focus is on Brighton, 100%.”

De Zerbi will prepare his side to face AS Roma in the Europa League after they have played Fulham.

He said: “The target is to win against Roma in the Europa League and play in the quarter-final – and in the Premier League to keep this level and reach the last five games of the season still in this position.

“But to achieve this target I need more players fit and not so many injuries. Otherwise it will be very tough.

“If you watched the game at Wolverhampton, Adingra didn’t play well but not because he’s not a good player or because his attitude was not right. It was because he was tired.

“Buonanotte maybe the same and Pascal Gross suffered cramp at the end of the game. Lewis Dunk can’t play 90 minutes every three days.

“To make substitutions you have to have more players available."
