Paulo Dybala showed the threat he can pose with a hat-trick for Roma in their last home game before facing Albion.

The Argentina star scored two superb second-half goals to secure a 3-2 Serie A win over Torino.

He also converted a first-half penalty at the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma were level at 1-1 at half-time but stepped up a gear in the second period.

Dybala let fly with his left foot from about 25 yards and curled home to give Roma their second lead of the night when it felt like there was little danger.

He then played a one-two with Romelu Lukaku, who had just gone on as sub, before whipping home a left-foot shot from a tight angle.

Chris Smalling started for the first time in almost six months after a knee injury and played until the 78th minute.

A low cross diverted off his replacement Dean Huijsen to give Torino their late second goal and Roma had to survive some nervy final moments.

Roma were unimpressive in the first half but zipped the ball about sharply in the second.

Dybala dropped into pockets of space looking to work magic while Smalling and fellow centre-back Gianluca Mancini ventured forward in open play at times.

Roma have now win five league games out of six under Daniele De Rossi.

They go to Mpnza before welcoming the Seagulls in the last 16 of the Europa League.
