Valentin Barco got a close-up view of the Premier League as he awaits his big chance.
The recent signing from Argentina sat three rows back in the West Stand as Albion played Everton.
Barco was alongside injured Joao Pedro and Solly March in seats just behind the substitutes.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi is biding his time before getting him involved in a Prem fixture.
Speaking on Friday afternoon, he said: “First of all I would like him to understand what is the Premier League, because in other leagues there isn't the same atmosphere.
“I think in the Premier League [he needs] to see different styles of playing depending on the team you are playing against and then I'm ready to help him, as well the other players I already have.”
