Simon Adingra has been told to take confidence from his from his AFCON triumph.
The Ivory Coast winner has been cleared to play some part for Albion as they visit Sheffield United.
Adingra starred in the 2-1 win over Nigeria in last Sunday’s final.
Roberto De Zerbi believes that success that can have beneficial effect on his club form.
The head coach said: “I think he change in his confidence.
“Sometimes I observe him as too shy but he is so smart, such a good guy and I think he can’t suffer from the pressure or more pressure.
“The team love him, the staff love him and I think if we play we play with Mitoma and Adingra as wingers, we feel better, stronger.”
De Zerbi was happy to give Adingra some time off after his international duty.
He said “Adingra was playing very well before the African Cup. He suffered injury before the African Cup started.
“He’s a smart guy, he understands football. He can play everywhere we need.
“He is important, especially when we play three games per week.
““I think he can improve but we are all very happy for his performances. He is good to play.”
