Albion are hoping for good news on Jack Hinshelwood after he was added to their injury list.
The midfielder missed the game at Tottenham due to a foot injury.
Stand-in boss Andrea Maldera said he was due for a scan over the weekend.
He reported Hinshelwood took a knock in training on Friday.
Maldera said: “During a tackle he had another kick.
“The medical centre told us it was better not to play.
“We don’t know if he is ready next week or not.
“We are waiting in the next days.”
It is understood Hinshelwood had taken a knock in the recent win at Sheffield United.
Joao Pedro (hamstring) also missed the Tottenham game and was due to have a follow-up scan.
