Albion have added two bright attacking talents to their under-21s squad.

They bring in attacking midfielder Josh Robertson from Sunderland and forward Caylan Vickers from Reading.

Both have signed three-and-a-half-year contracts.

Albion under-21s head coach Shannon Ruth said of Robertson, 18: "He has had a really good education with Sunderland, which was rewarded with his Premier League 2 debut earlier this season.

“He has demonstrated his ability to play in a variety of attacking roles, while also showing his goalscoring threat.

“We believe he will fit in well with our style of play which will also allow him to show his strengths.”

Vickers is 19 and has already played in League One.

Ruth said: “Caylan has had an impressive season, making his professional debut and scoring his first league goal.

“He’s combined exposure to League One football along with impressive performances in PL2.

“We are excited to work with him and in our environment we are confident he will continue to develop and flourish.”

Meanwhile under-21s defender Imari Samuels has joined Fleetwood on his first senior loan deal.
