Albion are through to the last eight of the Conti Cup with a 100% record.
They made it three wins from three with a 2-1 success at Championship high-flyers Charlton.
Head coach Melissa Phillips made several line-up changes and saw goals from Jorelyn Carabali and Tatiana Pinto put her side firmly in charge.
They were close to adding to their tally before former Seagulls favourite Kayleigh Green replied in added time.
The draw for the quarter-final is on Friday, by which time Albion will be well into their preparations for their home WSL game against Chelsea.
The champions visit Broadfield Stadium on Saturday (5.30pm) and tickets are currently on sale via the club website, priced £12 for adults and £6 concessions.
