Tony Russell says Lewes have brought in close to a six figures through improving and selling players.
Deon Moore is the latest to move on after signing at League Two outfit Sutton.
Ollie Tanner, who made a high-profile exit 18 months ago, is in his second season at Cardiff City and has featured in 29 games this season, scoring in the derby against Swansea.
Russell, whose side face a derby of their own tonight when Horsham visit the Dripping Pan, said: “I think I get more excited than the players when these things happen.
“He is the fifth player in the last two-and-a-half seasons that has gone full-time.
“I believe everyone wins. Young players come to us, they have lost their way.
“Fans get the win because they get to see these players come in.
“They have seen their journey and they have seen them develop in front of their eyes.
“I think that’s a great experience for us as a staff, to be part of that, and it’s great for the fans.
“The club win because we are going towards £100,000 on players we have sold in the last two-and-a-half years since I’ve been here and that’s hugely beneficial.
“We source the players, we bring them in and I negotiate their deals.
“It’s great to put money back in the club and it goes towards everyone in the club.
“On one of them we have negotiated a really big sell-on fee.
“I believe in the next two years there will be an amount coming into the club which will have a huge impact.
“We are already looking for the next one.
“We have identified a couple of targets and they will be arriving hopefully soon.”
