Albion have been told to play without pressure as they look to move away from the wrong end of the WSL.

Melissa Phillips’ side are three points above bottom team Bristol City before their meeting at Broadfield on Sunday.

Albion were unhappy with the way they finished 2023 but returned in the New Year with a 6-0 win at lower-league Luton Town in the FA Cup.

A win could take Albion up two places in the standings.

It appears potentially a big game in the context of the season but Phillips is happy with how her side are looking.

The Albion boss said: “We don’t negate the importance of the game.

“The focus has always been on the process about us being sharp and clinical in the areas we want to go and attack.

“We know it is a huge three-point swing in the table.

“Our group is at our best when we feel there is no pressure on the game and that is how we have gone about it.”
