Jeremy Sarmiento has been “smashing into tackles” for new club Ipswich Town.
The on-loan Albion man was praised for his efforts after going as sub for his first Championship minutes for the club.
Sarmiento entered the fray on 68 minutes and helped the Tractor Boys secure a 2-1 win.
Team-mate George Edmundson said: “I thought he was excellent when he came on.
“He gave us energy and life, he was smashing into tackles. I didn’t expect that from a No.10!
“Those are the things we want to see. I thought he was brilliant.”
Sarmiento also went on as sub on his Ipswich debut in the FA Cup win at AFC Wimbledon, having spent the first half of the campaign at West Brom.
He will now hope for involvement this Monday in the top-of-the-table clash at Leicester City.
