Roberto De Zerbi says Albion have “a clear idea” of how to cope with a worsening injury list.

But he will be glad to get confirmation that Pervis Estupinan can play a full part.

Igor has been ruled out of tonight’s game at West Ham (7.30pm) with Lewis Dunk suspended and Adam Webster not ready for 90 minutes.

Estupinan could make his first start in three months after his dramatic comeback from injury as a half-time sub in the win over Tottenham.

Albion boss De Zerbi said: “I have to speak with him because the last games he didn’t feel in the right condition to play 90 minutes.

“For sure, it is great news, he was important in the last game.

“But to play 90 minutes you have to be ready, to feel good.”

Webster, who has not played since November 12, will be available to play some part off the bench.

But Jan Paul van Hecke is the only senior, specialist centre-back available to start the game against the in-form Hammers.

Albion appear to be up against it but they know a win would send them above both the Hammers and Manchester United into sixth place.

De Zerbi said: “I have a clear idea on the game.

“We have to change something, but I am working in a different way.

“We are working harder with my staff and we are finding the best solution, depending on the players who are available.

“This will be another important test for us, but we have to be focused on the result, on the quality of the play, to be focused on the performance and on the (position in the) table we could reach if we win.”
