Jeremy Sarmiento’s loan stint at West Brom has been cut short.

The Ecuador winger has been recalled by injury-hit Albion.

Greek outfit Aris Thessaloniki are keen on signing Sarmiento.

While the Seagulls are currently short of fit widemen, Albion technical director David Weir appeared to suggest he could be on the move again.

Via a club announcement, Weir said: “Jeremy will come back to us, and we will look at what is the next best step for his development.”

Sarmiento played 21 times for West Brom in the first half of the season, making seven starts and 14 substitute appearances, scoring twice.
