Q - Tottenham´s form?

Standing fourth in the table with 36 points and only four points from topping the table, the title race is still there for Spurs.

The London side have learned the hard way. After a fantastic start to the season, three losses in a row brought back them back to reality. However, their most recent form has been admirable with three consecutive wins.

Speaking of form, Richarlison. The Brazilian is on fire as has found the net in four occasions in the past three games.

Q – Away record

Ange Postecoglou has transformed his players into a solid and tough away team to play against. In fact, Spurs are the best away team so far this season, gaining 18 points out of 27 possible.

Getting into more detail, only have they lost once in these 9 games, battling against teams such as Arsenal and Manchester City amongst others. Currently averaging just above a goal per game and hence something to take into account for a side such as Brighton who have struggled defensively this season.

Q – Biggest threat?

No surprise here. Son is still Tottenham´s best asset. The South Korean is fourth in the scoring leaderboard, with ten goals and four assists in 17 games. Brighton conceded a goal to the forward last season when Spurs came triumphant by 2-1 in a intense game.

Q – Injuries & returns?

Cristian Romero set to miss the game after a fresh injury against Everton on Saturday. James Maddison, Ivan Perisic and Ryan Sessegnon amongst others will be absent this Thursday.

Good news for Postecoglou is the return of Destiny Udogie who will return to the squad list after completing his one-match ban.

Q - Head-to-head

Tottenham came victorious last season, beating Albion in both occasions.

However, one of them still burns Albion fans as the game played in Tottenham´s stadium ended up in an incredible controversy. PGMOL had to apologise due to two disallowed goals from two different doubtful handballs and a penalty not given to Albion after Hojbjerg stomped on Mitoma´s foot and hence unbalancing the Japanese.

The last time Albion defeated Spurs was back in 2022 with a late goal from Leandro Trossard in injury time.
