Kaoru Mitoma has told fans of his frustration at being ruled out through injury.
The Albion and Japan winger suffered an ankle problem in the 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace.
Roberto De Zerbi was unable to give details on the injury as he spoke after the game.
Mitoma left the ground on crutches and with his ankle in a boot.
He has hinted the news might not be good for club and country.
Mitoma told his 1.4 million Instagram followers: “It’s frustrating to be out injured but I will come back stronger.”
He is due to join up with Japan in early January ahead of the Asia Cup.
Mitoma’s injury could offer Simon Adingra a chance to play on his favoured left when Tottenham visit the Amex.
