Albion fans saw officially the best goal of the Europa League group stages, as revealed today by UEFA.
But it flew into their team’s net.
Djibril Sidibe’s spectacular header for AEK at the Amex topped a poll.

Sidibe powered home a remarkable diving effort from just inside the penalty area.
The Greek double winners celebrated victory that night – but they ended up bottom of the group while the Seagulls claimed top spot.
The second-placed goal also came from Group B as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s overhead kick for Marseille against Ajax got a lot of support.
No Albion goal made the top ten.
Arguably their two best strikes were both intricate passing moves followed by fine finishes – by Simon Adingra at Ajax and Joao Pedro at home to Marseille.
