Jarred Gillett will referee Albion in person for the second time this season.

The former A-League official has been handed the middle for the home game versus Tottenham.

He refereed the Seagulls’ 3-1 win at Manchester United earlier this term.

Gillett was on VAR duty recently when Albion were sunk by a penalty awarded on review at Chelsea.

The decision was effectively made by Gillett at Stockley Park and then approved by match referee Craig Pawson after James Milner clashed with Mykhaylo Mudryk.

Gillett has refereed 13 games this season, showing 61 yellows and three reds.

He took charge of this week’s Carabao Cup tie between Chelsea and Newcastle, which the hosts won on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

It will be his second Tottenham game in a short period.

He reffed their 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest last Friday and showed a straight red card to Yves Bissoum after the punishment for a bad tackle was upgraded on review.

Peter Bankes will be on VAR duty this time.

The full officiating team for Albion v Tottenham is a follows.
