Joel Veltman is a facing several weeks out due to injury.

The right-back went off with a knee problem as Albion played Arsenal on Sunday.

While an expected period of absence is not confiemd, head coach Roberto De Zerbi indicated about two months out for the former Holland international.

De Zerbi said: “He has an injury not so big but I think for a couple of months we lost him.”

Danny Welbeck, who was used as a sub at the Emirates, will be with the squad at Crystal Palace tomorrow bit is not yet ready to start.

While De Zerbi gave little away about his line-up at Selhurst Park, the expectation will be for Joao Pedro to return to the starting XI.

Welbeck can have a key role off the bench.

De Zerbi said: “It is important for us if Danny is available to play part of the game.

“He changed the game on Sunday but we know the importance of Danny inside the team.”
