Gennaro Gattuso says it would be big match for Marseille to play for a draw at the Amex.

The OM boss reckons he would need divine intervention if he opted to shut up shop against Albion in the Europa League clash.

The visitors know a point would secure top spot in Group B.

But he told a press conference at the Amex: “The biggest error we can make is to come here to play against a De Zerbi team and play for a draw.

“You have to be brave, if not and they put you in your own 25 metres and you won’t get out.

“You have to go and look for them a bit, you have to pressure them.

“The Brighton team controls all the pitch.

“They pay against incredible teams in the Premier League and against Ajax.

“They had 70%, 65% of possession against Chelsea – at their place!

“You can’t come here and just defend.

“If you do, you have to make the sign of the Cross and hope that Gods helps you.”

He added: “It’s not just against Chelsea. They had that much possession against almost all the teams since De Zerbi has been there.”

Gattuso has not ruled midfield powerhouse Geoffrey Kondogbia, who has been struggling with injury, out of the game and will make a matchday decision.
