James Trafford has revealed why he spoke to Adam Lallana after denying Albion a win.
The Burnley goalkeeper produced some fine saves as his side secured a 1-1 draw at the Amex.
Lallana, who played in the first half, has joined the coaching staff with England under-21s at recent camps.
Trafford said: “Adam is a great guy. I worked with him in the national team, in the 21s.
“I am close to him there and it was nice to see him and to play against him rather than coaching us.
“We were just talking about the game, having a bit of a laugh. A bit of banter “And also Jason Steele. He’s a great guy.
“It was the first time I’ve met him and spoken to him.
“I’d have liked to have played against him.
“He is brilliant, he’s incredible with the ball at his feet.
“But so is Bart (Verbruggen) and we were just having a good chat about goalkeeping and life.”
