Jack Hinshelwood savoured “an unbelievable feeling” as he scored the winner for Albion.
The teenager headed home against Brentford shortly after clearing off the line at the other end.
It was his debut at the Amex having previously played in six away games, including his debut at Aston Villa at the end of last season.
He told Amazon Prime: “It is an unbelievable feeling.
“It was my first game playing here at the Amex in front of all these fans.
“And it was a brilliant feeling to get a standing ovation when I came off. I am just delighted to get the win.
“The fans, players and manager have all shown great belief in me and I am just trying to repay them.”
Hinshelwood has played some part of games at Chelsea (twice), Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and AEK Athens this season.
