Neal Maupay is coming into form ahead of a return to the Amex.
The former Albion striker scored his second goal since returning to Brentford as they beat Luton 3-1.
Maupay is on loan from Everton, for whom he played briefly as sub when they won 5-1 at the Amex last season.
Bees coach Thomas Frank said: "We were sure that he will do well for us because we know him well and he can score goals.
“He’s had to get back into it and in the last weeks he’s played really good. I’m pleased it’s paying off for him.
"He scores goals – that's a big thing.
"He’s a good pressing player and link-up player when he drops down and finds a solution.
“As a character, he’s good for the group."
Maupay has two goals and two assists in his last six matches for the Bees, three of those games being substitute appearances from the 70th minute onwards.
He played in the middle of a three along with Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa against Luton.
Brentford have several injuries but have won four of their last six games ahead of Wednesday’s trip to the Amex.
