Roberto De Zerbi has urged Albion to turn problems into opportunities as they face another big test.
The Seagulls go to Chelsea tomorrow after their big win – and late night return trip – in the Euopa League.
Adam Lallana returns to the squad, as does Jan Paul van Hecke after his European ban.
But there is a doubt over Joao Pedro and Kaoru Mitoma might not start at Stamford Bridge.
It will be the first time Albion have played on a post-Europa Sunday and they have various injuries while Lewis Dunk and Mahmoud Dahoud are banned.
De Zerbi said: "We have to think to play better and to play in our style, with our idea.
“It's a very tough period but we can and we must transform problems into opportunities.
“We can’t think about injuries, about how many players we lost.
“We have to be focussed on the game.
“We have enough to try and win. It will be a difficult game but it’s part of life, part of football.
“If we accept this moment, we can become better players, better coaches, better men.”
In terms of team news, he said: "Joao Pedro we have to analyse tomorrow morning if he is available to play or to play one part of the game or not.
"We have to see Mitoma. I don’t know if Mitoma can start the game or not.
"But we will be ready."
