Roberto De Zerbi says he will keep giving his honest opinions after being warned by the FA.

De Zerbi said he does not like 80 per cent of England's referees after his side were held to a 1-1 draw by Sheffield United recently.

He did not dispute Mahmoud Dahoud's red card in the same game.

He was asked about the situation at his pre-match press conference before the trip to Nottingham Forest.

De Zerbi said: “I have always respected everyone, especially referees.

“I’m sorry for the controversy but for sure I will say my opinion while respecting everyone. I love talking honestly. Wherever I work, I will say my opinion – I think it’s my right.

“I remember very well what I said and I don’t think I said anything bad.

"I said just my opinion, maybe it’s not possible. I love talking honestly. I didn’t say anything about the red card of Dahoud.

“I don’t like speaking in controversy, it’s not my job.

"My focus is on my players, my team, to give the organisation to help my players to win points; other things are not my job.”
