Moder was on the bench at home to Sheffield United 12 days ago after 19 months out due to a serious knee injury.
His return could be timely with Mahmoud Dahoud serving a three-game domestic ban and James Milner still ruled out.
Albion head coach De Zerbi said: “Moder will be on the bench tomorrow.
“He can play 25 minutes tomorrow, maybe.
“(Pascal) Gross, (Billy) Gilmour, (Carlos) Baleba are available to play but we have to improve the physical condition of Moder because we play against Athens, Chelsea, Marseille and we need all our players.”
Asked whether Moder had been asking him for playing time, De Zerbi said: “No, but sometimes you have to show me that you’re ready.
“Words are important but what I see in training is important.”
