The Premier League have sent one of their most experienced referees to Albion's next match.
Anthony Taylor takes charge of their visit to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
His video assistant will be Graham Scott.
The match is the Seagulls' first since their head coach Roberto De Zerbi said he does not like 80% of English referees.
Taylor has refereed Albion already this season – in the defeat by West Ham and draw with Liverpool, both at home.
He has shown 15 yellows and a red in his last two games.
His work in the 4-4 draw between Chelsea and Manchester City was much scrutinised.
Since then, he has reffed what appears to have been a lively Euro 2024 qualifier between Israel and Switzerland, which was played in Hungary.
In total, he has refereed 19 games this season, showing 94 yellow cards and three reds.
The game of the weekend, between Liverpool and Manchester City, will be refereed by Chris Kavanagh with Stuart Attwell on VAR duty.
The full officiating team for Nottingham Forest v Albion is as follows.
Referee: Anthony Taylor. Assistants: Gary Beswick, Adam Nunn. Fourth official: Andy Davies. VAR: Graham Scott. Assistant VAR: Mark Scholes.
