Joao Pedro was called up for the first time after his impressive start to the season with Albion.
The 24 players selected by head coach Diniz will train at the Brazil headquarters of Granja Comary in Teresopolis, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
They face a trip to Colombia before the eagerly-awaited fixture against Argentina at the Maracana.
Neymar is a notable absentee for Brazil due to injury.
