Roberto De Zerbi has warned Albion face a new challenge when they take on Ajax tonight.
But the head coach added: “For us, nothing changed.”
Albion trained at the Johan Cruyff Arena in late afternoon yesterday ahead of their Europa League clash (5.45pm).
They trained beneath a closed roof in a session which included Pervis Estupinan, who could feature off the bench.
Ajax boss John van’t Schip believes his side will offer the Seagulls more of a defensive test than in the corresponding fixture at the Amex two weeks ago.
Asked whether it will be a different test for his side, De Zerbi said: “Really different because they changed coach.
“I watched the game on Sunday (a 4-1 home win over Heerenveen). They played a good game.
“They won an important game, they scored four goals and they are different.
“But, for us, nothing changed because we need to win the game.
“We are here to prepare a great game.
“We need another three points for the table to qualify for the next stage."
Estupinan could play for the first time since his 45 minutes at Aston Villa in late September.
But Tariq Lamptey will be out until after the forthcoming international break.
