Albion secured a 1-1 draw at Everton after dominating possession.

We asked these long-time fans for their thoughts on the game at Goodison Park and anyone who stood out.

Then we looked at the season in more general terms.

Amid questions nationally about whether the Seagulls have lost their way a little, we asked those who follow them home and away whether they are concerned at all about a lack of recent wins in the Premier League.

See if you agree with their comments.

1. What were your thoughts on Albion’s performance against Everton?

James Heasman: Despite the possession, it all felt a little bit pedestrian in the first half and we created very little. The second half was better, as by playing Joao Pedro with Ferguson it supported greater movement, and Everton certainly began to struggle more. Overall though, it was disappointing. I have to say, that once again the application of VAR seemed questionable, and whether Dunk was actually offside is debatable. Obviously, if it was Liverpool, the BBC Match of the Day team might have taken an interest.

Colin Beales: A flat performance from the Albion where again we talk about the officiating, however ultimately we didn't really threaten the goal much where Everton had several better chances. In the end a point was a decent result on the display.

2. Who stood out for you from the Albion team?

James Heasman: Not a great performance from anyone. Gilmour was tidy in possession if not incisive, Milner defended well, Mitoma did okay, but not great. I think Lewis Dunk was probably our best player, kept Calvert-Lewin quiet, and gave another passing masterclass.

Colin Beales: Our best play all went through Mitoma. At the moment the team seems to lack balance and pretty much every threatening chance will go through Kaoru.

3. Are you at all concerned about the lack of league wins in recent weeks?

James Heasman: A little, in that we have a lot of possession but seem to go nowhere for 45 minutes each game. We are better when we play faster, and some of the players look a little tired at times (Gross and Ferguson). Friends of ours have highlighted the number of changes, and that is probably a factor as well.

Colin Beales: Not at the moment. Certainly something isn't clicking at the moment with squad rotation and injuries seemingly making it difficult get improvement on our form week-on-week, but I'm sure it will come. We know the quality we have in this squad.
