Albion will keep a close eye on Tariq Lamptey after he suffered a late setback at Everton.
The full-back returned to the matchday squad after an injury absence of almost a month.
His name was included on the team sheet.
But he had been replaced on the bench by Jack Hinshelwood when action kicked off.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi said: “In the warm-up he felt a little injury.
“He is an important player for us. I didn’t want take any risks with him.”
De Zerbi will next take questions from reporters at the Johann Cruyff Arena on Wednesday evening ahead of Albion’s Europa League game against Ajax.
