Roberto De Zerbi changed the game at Goodison, according to an expert Everton watcher.
Albion’s numerous line-up changes have been much discussed, and sometimes criticised, in recent weeks.
But former midfielder Barry Horne told BBC Radio Merseyside listeners the Albion boss got his in-game changes spot on during the 1-1 draw.
He said: “I am giving him massive credit because he changed the game.
“He started introducing the subs.
“He changed the look of the team and slowly but surely they became a complete attacking force to the extent they were leaving themselves exposed at the back.
“Your mind gets tired, your legs get tired and you switch off.
“They left themselves wide open and we didn’t capitalise on that.
“We didn’t have the quality going forward.”
