Jakub Moder is back in action.
The Albion midfielder played the first 32 minutes of the under-21s game at Arsenal yesterday.
He has been out for almost 19 months with a serious knee injury.
Ironically, the first senior fixture he missed was away to Arsenal.
Moder produced some promising moments before making his pre-planned exit around the half-hour mark.
Speaking about Moder’s return, head coach Roberto De Zerbi said recently: “When you are a player who loses one year to injury, before tactical or professional things, it’s a human thing.
“We want to help him back from the injury.
“I think he can become important for us, especially if we play a lot of games after January.
Albion lost the Premier League 2 fixture 6-3, their goals coming from Irish striker Mark O’Mahony, who scored twice, and Josh Duffus, the 18-year-old forward who was on the bench for the Europa League game against Ajax last Thursday.
