Roberto De Zerbi wants to see more from the men whose goals made history in the Europa League.
The Albion head coach is excited to see what Joao Pedro and Ansu Fati can provide during the rest of the season.
Both scored in the 2-0 win over Ajax, a result Albion now look to follow when they host Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday (2pm).
De Zerbi said: “Both are great players, I think both can play better.
“We are helping Ansu a lot because he didn’t play so many games last year.
“He started a new football life.
“He is an incredible player, Joao Pedro too.
“They are very young. We have to help them progress but they have to help themselves.
“Working harder during the season, during the week, working harder during the game.
“But they are both incredible players.”
Ansu has scored in his last two games while Joao Pedro is joint top-scorer in the Europa League.
De Zerbi said: “Joao Pedro and Ansu Fati are inside the ideal first XI.”
Fulham would love a repeat of last season’s 1-0 win at the Amex when Manor Solomon scored late on.
De Zerbi said: “I can’t forget the defeat last season, 1-0 at the end of the game.
“Solomon gave me a bad day because we played very well and we lost three points.”
De Zerbi is also keen to see a clean sheet to follow that against Ajax.
He said: “We have to be focussed because we don’t want to concede goals.”
