Albion’s left-back woes could be about to ease.
Pervis Estupinan and Tariq Lamptey are close to returning after injury.
Neither had been ruled out of the game against Fulham as things stood this afternoon.
Estupinan looked sharp and mobile as he trained with a fitness coach on the eve of the Ajax game.
He has been out for four weeks now with a muscular problem.
Lamptey last played in the 2-2 draw at Marseille as he stood in for the Ecuador star.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi will only recall one or both if he is totally sure he would be running no risk of a further problem.
He told The Argus today: “I hope there can be a chance for Sunday but I don’t know yet.
“Anyway, we are waiting for them until now and I don’t want to take a risk with them, especially in that position on the pitch.
“We are suffering too much to take a risk.”
De Zerbi reported no new injuries from the Ajax game but said there will be line-up changes against the Cottagers.
