Albion midfielder Billy Gilmour has scored his long-awaited first senior goal.
But his strike for Scotland in Lille could not head off a heavy defeat by France.
The Albion midfielder guided a shot inside the far post after seizing on a stray pass by Eduardo Camavinga to give Scotland an early lead.
He had previously played 95 games – some of them relatively short outings off the bench - for clubs and country without a goal.
Gilmour played the first 76 minutes of the match.
France ran out 4-1 winners but Albion will hope some similarly adept finishes in their colours when club action resumes.
