Albion will make a matchday decision on Tariq Lamptey as they prepare to face Liverpool.
But it appears James Milner is unlikely to face his former club at the Amex.
Milner has been struggling with a muscular issue.
Lamptey played a demanding 90 minutes at Marseille in midweek and Roberto De Zerbi has been keen to see how he recovers.
De Zerbi said there will be changes to the Xi which kicked off at Marseille.
He said: “It is difficult for James. He didn’t work with the group until yesterday.
“I don’t know if it’s the best solution to take a risk with him especially in this moment because of Estupinan’s injury.
“We have to see tomorrow about Lamptey. I don’t want to take a risk because he could have a problem.
“The other players are good. We have to change some things from the Marseille game.
“I have to make a decision about the first XI for tomorrow – try to win the game.
“To lose players in this moment will be stupid.
“We are still in October and it will be a long season.
“We have to play four more games in Europa l and many games in the Premier League.”
