Anthony Taylor is set to referee Liverpool’s visit to the Amex Stadium this Sunday, writes Anujit Vijayakumar.
It will be the Englishman’s ninth game of the season and seventh in the Premier League.
Taylor was the man in charge when the Seagulls hosted West Ham at the Amex Stadium earlier this season.
But it turned out to be a disappointing day for Roberto De Zerbi's men as they suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of the Hammers.
The 44-year-old Taylor and his family were also harassed by a group of Roma fans at Budapest Airport after the Italian side's defeat by Sevilla in the Europa League final in the summer.
Adam Nunn and Gary Beswick have been appointed as the assistant referees for the fixture and will oversee duties on either touchline.
Craig Pawson has been handed the responsibility of fourth official, with Chris Kavanagh set to be handed the reigns of administering VAR.
Mathew Wilkes is tasked with assisting Kavanagh.
The full officiating team for Albion vs Liverpool is as follows - Referee: Anthony Taylor. Assistants: Adam Nunn, Gary Beswick. Fourth official: Craig Pawson. VAR: Chris Kavanagh. Assistant VAR: Matthew Wilkes.
