Roberto De Zerbi said Albion have the quality to bounce back from a big defeat.
The Seagulls went down 6-1 at Aston Villa and now face games with Marseille and Liverpool.
De Zerbi was scathing of his side’s performance at Villa Park.
Then he added: “But I believe in my players because I have a big, big confidence in the people inside my dressing room.
“We are suffering a lot for this defeat.
“We are sorry for our fans, for our club, but sometimes it can happen to lose in this way.
“Especially if you are not ready, especially of you have to adapt.
“But Thursday you will see another Brighton.
“They know very well we play a very important game Thursday and we will play Sunday another big game in the Premier League.
“I think they have enough quality to play and to play well.
“With the same squad we won against Manchester United, against Newcastle.
“The same guys, the same players, the same coach and the same shirt.
“I think we have played seven games in the Premier League and won five and lost two.”
